This is especially useful in school when it’s important to be in the green Zone so that our bodies and minds are ready to learn. Youtube has a series of videos entitled “Inside Out-getting to know your emotions ” that help students, in thirty short seconds gain an understanding of each emotion. The movie characters are a wonderful way to help students visualize, recognize and identify emotions in themselves and others.

These characters live inside Riley’s head and have a direct effect on her behavior. Each of her emotions is personified with a character that helps children put a visual to the complex concept of emotions. If you haven’t seen the movie Inside Out© by now, what are you waiting for?
